JC7 Cattle Company’s headquarters is located just south of Fort Worth Texas near Glen Rose on the banks of the Brazos River. We focus on producing top quality, Simmental, and SimAngus, red and black cattle. We strive to produce cattle for calving ease, growth, docility, and carcass quality. JC7 utilizes AI breeding and embryo transfer using bulls picked from the top 1% of the breed for API and TI indexes, producing offspring with superior, genetic potential for calving ease, growth, docility and carcass quality. Our clean up bulls are handpicked for performance and phenotype and are in the top 10% of the breed for API and TI EPDs.

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

Owner Jim Bryant has been in the cattle business since his teenage years in rural north Texas. With an Honor Degree in Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M University, Jim has excelled in the grain and feed business in Texas as well as the cattle business for several decades. In 2016, Jim and his wife Katie began a Simmental and SimAngus herd in addition to the commercial cow herd. JC7 uses only top of the breed AI bulls and hand picked herd bulls for EPDs, growth, and calving ease carcasses. quality, docility, and confirmation.
